Blanche Gardin, born September 3, 1977 in Paris, is one of the most original and subversive voices in contemporary French comedy. Trained in theater, and after several years of relative anonymity, she burst onto the scene in the 2010s with acerbic, feminist and resolutely nonconformist humor.
Her show Bonne nuit Blanche (2015), first performed in small Parisian venues, was quickly recognized as one of the best one-woman shows of the decade. Je parle toute seule (2018) confirmed her comic genius with resounding public and critical success, earning her the Molière for Best Solo Show in 2019. Bonne nuit Blanche is available on Netflix, which has brought her international recognition.
A committed and independent figure, Blanche Gardin is also known for her political stances and her support for environmental causes. She embodies a new generation of French comedy: smart, corrosive and deeply personal.

Blanche Gardin worked with Louis C.K. on the film I Love You Daddy and has shared the stage with Guillaume Meurice and other figures of politically engaged French comedy. She has an artistic friendship with Édouard Baer and actors from French auteur cinema.
Blanche Gardin tours nationwide back to back, with packed venues all over France. In 2024, her new show Bonne nuit Blanche 2 is in very high demand. She is especially appreciated for cultural events and corporate galas that value smart, offbeat humor.
