Matt Pokora, born Matthieu Tota on September 26, 1985, in Strasbourg, is a French singer, dancer and songwriter, and one of the most popular pop artists of his generation. Discovered in 2003 on the show Popstars as a member of the group Linkup, he launched his solo career in 2004 under the name M. Pokora.
His self-titled debut album M. Pokora (2004) was certified gold, followed by Player (2006), certified double gold and driven by the hit « Elle me contrôle ». The albums MP3 (2008) and Mise à jour (2010) confirmed his star status, before the massive success of À la poursuite du bonheur (2012), certified platinum.
