Hakim Jemili, born October 25, 1983 in Gennevilliers (Hauts-de-Seine), is one of the most dynamic and endearing comedians on today’s French scene. Raised in the Paris suburbs in a family of Algerian descent, he draws on his own experience as the raw material for his shows, which he elevates with humor, kindness and a keen sense of rhythm.
Discovered through the Jamel Comedy Club, he built a solid reputation in clubs before achieving national success with his first show Du monde dans la tête (2015). His physical energy on stage, sharply drawn characters and rap flow confirm him as an exceptional performer. Incroyable (2019) boosted his success even further.
Hakim Jemili is also known for his viral video clips and regular TV appearances. His infectious good humor and authenticity make him one of the most popular artists with the general public.
Hakim Jemili was discovered by the Jamel Comedy Club and regularly works with Jamel Debbouze and the artists of that network. His viral videos on social media have connected him with many digital content creators. He regularly shares the bill with artists of his generation at galas and festivals.
Hakim Jemili performs regularly throughout France, Belgium and Switzerland. He is especially in demand for corporate galas and family evenings, where his good-natured humor and positive energy reach every audience without exception.
