Jamiroquai is a British funk, acid jazz and pop band founded in London in 1992 by its charismatic singer and leader Jay Kay (born Jason Luis Cheetham Kay on December 30, 1969). For more than thirty years, Jamiroquai has been synonymous with irresistible groove, musical virtuosity and sartorial elegance, becoming one of the most influential bands of the 1990s and 2000s.
Their discography includes albums that have become classics: Emergency on Planet Earth (1993), The Return of the Space Cowboy (1994), Travelling Without Moving (1996) — still the best-selling funk album in history — and Synkronized (1999). The singles “Virtual Insanity”, “Cosmic Girl”, “Deeper Underground” and “Canned Heat” are among the most iconic hits of the 1990s.
In France, Jamiroquai enjoys exceptional popularity. Their concerts are unique musical experiences, combining unstoppable groove, top-tier musicians and Jay Kay’s incomparable stage presence.

Jay Kay and Jamiroquai work with the finest British and American jazz, funk and soul musicians. Their influence on the global music scene is considerable, from Daft Punk to Bruno Mars. In France, they have close ties with the Paris music scene.
